Jérôme Mesnager the creator of the Man in White, "a symbol of light, strength, and peace." Jérôme Mesnager has reproduced this white silhouette all over the world, from the walls of Paris to the Great Wall of China.

In 1995, he created a large mural on Rue de Ménilmontant, in the 20th arrondissement, titled "C'est nous les gars de Ménilmontant" (We are the guys from Ménilmontant).

Jérôme Mesnager often collaborates with Némo, whose signature character is the black silhouette of a man in a raincoat and hat. As such, he was part of the Parisian urban art movement (Blek le Rat, Miss.Tic, Jef Aérosol, Némo, etc.) and the Figuration Libre movement in the early 1980s.

In 2006, Jérôme created a series of canvases inspired by Art Nouveau and Art Deco. That same year, he took on the Hôtel des Académies et des Arts in Paris, filling the space with his White Bodies.
