Jérôme Mesnager the creator of the White Man, “a symbol of light, strength and peace.” Jérôme Mesnager has reproduced this white silhouette all over the world, from the walls of Paris to the Great Wall of China.

In 1995, he created a large mural on rue de Ménilmontant in the 20th arrondissement, titled “We’re the guys from Ménilmontant.”

Jérôme Mesnager often collaborates with Némo, whose signature character is the black silhouette of a man in a raincoat and hat. In this way, he has been part of the Parisian urban art movement (Blek le rat, Miss.Tic, Jef Aérosol, Némo, etc.) and the Figuration Libre movement since the early 1980s.

In 2006, Jérôme created a series of canvases inspired by Art Nouveau and Art Deco. That same year, he took over the Hôtel des Académies et des Arts in Paris, filling the space with his White Bodies.
